Meridian High School (formerly George Mason High School) is located in the City of Falls Church, in Northern Virginia, less than ten miles west of the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. The City of Falls Church became an independent city in 1949 for the primary purpose of being able to establish its own school system. Meridian High School is the only high school serving the Falls Church City community.
